Title: Santa Fe: Resolution
Media: Acrylic on paper mounted on panel
Dimensions: 30"x22"
Finish Date: May, 2003
Commentary:

Moving further away from the use of geometric forms, I also moved to neutralized colour and a greater use of white and black for value contrast. I felt strongly that this piece resolved the problem I felt I had with geometric shape.

This piece is sufficiently different or ahead of its predecessors that it stands alone. As I write this in late 2006, I see elements that I have been wanting to integrate into recent chromostatic work. There is much that I would now say is wrong with it, but at the same time, I see some very exciting passages.
