Collections

The many collections that Mary’s work is found in include:

The City of Ottawa purchased a painting to give to the Mayor of The Hague, in honour of the fiftieth anniversary of VE DAY.

Awards

As well as numerous awards from the Ottawa Watercolour Society and the Society of Canadian Artists, Mary has received an “Art in Public Places” commission, Ottawa, 1996, and was nominated for the City of Ottawa’s Arts and Heritage award 2000.

Writing

Mary has written extensively for magazines and newsletters on art technique, the painting and creative process and the theory and properties of colour.
Mary has been included in numerous national and international biographies, including Canadian Who’s Who and the International Who’s Who of Women. Mary has been elected to the Society of Canadian Artists.
